In matters of Estate Planning, I am available to provide affordable, confidential counsel and guidance for general Estate Planning. Estate planning includes documents such as Wills, Trusts, Health Care Proxies, Durable Powers of Attorney, Living Wills (also known as "Advance Directives"), Temporary Guardianship for Minor child/ren, and Declarations of Homestead. Creating an "estate plan" is not as time consuming or expensive as you may think! Yet, it is so important to have these documents set up and kept updated -- especially if you have a child/ren -- in order to make sure that your family is taken care of and your wishes are followed regarding your own care in case of incapacity, as well as who your beneficiaries are, who would raise and assist your child/ren if necessary, and how you want your assets to pass after death. The best course of action is for us to sit down and have a discussion about your needs and intentions in order to determine what will work best for you and your family. |
